BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli border-guard forces detained several Palestinian youths and confiscated their vehicle in southern Nablus, on Thursday.
Hebrew-language news sites reported that the youths, who were not immediately identified, were detained from near the entrance of the illegal Israeli settlement of Yitzhar.
Israeli forces also confiscated the vehicle the youths were riding.
Israeli forces were heavily deployed in southern Nablus on Thursday afternoon following a stabbing attack that left an Israeli soldiers and settler injured.
Several military checkpoints were set up and extensive searches were carried out following the attack at the Huwwara military checkpoint, in the Nablus district, causing injuries to an Israeli soldier and Israeli settler.
A group of Israeli settlers also attacked Palestinian vehicles passing by the Yitzhar intersection following the incident.
